Most people are aware of the false start in 1987 Telluride where Jerry concludes this is all fu*cked up" Well here's another one that I had no idea existed from Red Rocks. Best part is Weir just watching Garcia continue...

To me, it looks like Garcia is in his own world and doesn't realize it until Weir asks if "we can start over". Garcia keeps going then looks over, "Huh? A yeah. Sure, sure." I guess he was on autopilot.

"To me, it looks like Garcia is in his own world and doesn't realize it"

...as was the case more often than not during this period.

Lobster

Here is one you missed from a few months earlier in 85

I saw both the Pittsburgh and Red Rocks F' ups.

I'm not sure I remember them restarting any other song in all my years. So to see it happen twice in 2 months was odd.

Thanks for that post. Something about that intro maybe? Doesn't help that Jerry sounds so croaky either.

Hadn't seen/heard this one before.

There is a restart of "Ripple" in some '71 show, but I think it was just because they were way out of tune.
